ARTfutures : The Contemporary Art Society's Annual Selling Show
From 2000 until 2008 Jeni Walwin was the lead curator for this exhibition.

ARTfutures began as a campaigning project - a means of encouraging greater patronage of contemporary visual art among new and existing collectors. As the landscape around the project changed over the years, and many organisations began to offer opportunities for purchasing work, so the aims of ARTfutures were adjusted to create an annual snapshot of the contemporary practice. Embracing the work of more than 100 artists living and working in the UK, it represented some of the most interesting developments in visual art. The selection included a great range of media from recent graduates, mid career artists often working independently, and more reasonably priced works by established artists.

A selection of images from the 2008 exhibition is shown.
